AI will will make you lazy and stupid

I've talked a lot in my newsletter about how great AI can be.

But let me share with you my greatest fear: “The Dead Internet Theory”

The theory goes like this: a massive chunk of the internet, particularly the shit you find through Google, the largest provider of online information in the entire fucking world, is now filled with AI-generated, low-quality crap.

Content writers pump out hundreds of articles a week without even blinking.

These articles?

They're from the fucking depths of the ocean in terms of quality.

Many aren't even optimizing their AI agents to produce decent content, at least that I could respect.

Instead, they create a flood of content designed to boost website rankings, not to inform or entertain.

So, you have an endless list of articles that provide almost no value, contributing to what is essentially a dead internet.

The virus of mindless AI-generated content spreads everywhere as people increasingly rely on AI instead of their own goddamn brains. We're talking AI-generated videos, reels, social media posts, you name it, AI's probably behind it.

Now, don't get me wrong.

People can work alongside AI and produce some truly astonishing work.

But that involves having some skill and using AI to enhance it, not completely relying on AI for everything.

I'm a big fan of learning how to use AI effectively; it's part of my daily workflow, but I'm seriously aware that becoming codependent on it will only make us obsolete.

We're all afraid of AI replacing us, but if we just give away our ability to think, what the fuck do you think will happen?

Learn to leverage AI and join a banger waitlist like mine, but don't become dependent on it.

Otherwise, all of us creators will contribute to this dead, AI-riddled internet hell.
